The Center for Transnational Law Studies at the Parahyangan Catholic University School of Law is a research center focused on advancing scholarship and practice in the fields of public international law and private international law. The center serves as a space for academic collaboration that connects universities, the government, international organizations, the private sector, civil society organizations, and legal practitioners in addressing various legal issues that transcend national borders.
The center’s activities are carried out through three main pillars: teaching, research, and community service. Through seminars, training sessions, research, scholarly publications, the development of policy recommendations, and community empowerment programs, we strive to make a tangible contribution to the development of better global law and governance.
Our areas of study encompass a wide range of transnational legal issues and developments, both in the realm of public international law and private international law. These studies cover legal aspects, policies, and evolving practices at the national, regional, and global levels in response to the dynamics of relations among states, international organizations, the business community, and society.
Driven by a spirit of collaboration and innovation, the Center for Transnational Law Studies welcomes opportunities for cooperation with various national and international institutions through joint research, academic events, professional training, consultations, and community service programs. We are open to collaborating with various parties to develop studies, research, and programs that contribute to the advancement of law at the national, regional, and global levels.
